Dogs and haggis

It is actually illegal to allow dogs to worry haggis, especially during the season between October and September. This breed of long haired haggis are unique to Bheinn-Y-Gezzabreak, 17 Scots miles SSW of Gotchabam in Moray

@helensusanswift You have a bonzer day, hopefully we'll chat again.

@Bushranger I will look for him now I know something of his background. Thank you for the information!
helensusanswift ยท 31-35, F
@Bushranger thank you - you too! :-)
I donโ€™t know what I am looking at๐Ÿคฏ

@Ghostinthemachine I eat haggis regularly, but Nessie - interesting. The voice recognition machines are pretty pointless in Scotland anyway. We have so many different accents in this small country it's unbelievable. I speak Moray Doric, my husband speaks pure Ayrshire, my boss Hebridean, and my work colleague Orkney - all vastly different.
@helensusanswift Amazing to think about the origin of all the dialects, and how you would have to learn them all in order to communicate.
There is also sign language....
helensusanswift ยท 31-35, F
@Ghostinthemachine Yes, there is that. ๐Ÿ‘

They look like sci fi gremlins. No, the dog looks worried too. What about leash laws in those places???
Elevatorpitches ยท F
@helensusanswift yes the nearby residents are rescuing the freezing sea turtles, the photos are moving to see
helensusanswift ยท 31-35, F
@Elevatorpitches Good for them! There are still decent people in the world.
Elevatorpitches ยท F
@helensusanswift Yes๐Ÿ‘ƒ thank their pure hearts, I would be among them if I were living around there...

The dog actualy looks haggard too. He should sit sequestered in the van while the dog daddy or mommy goes out on a leash looking through camera lens and leaving footprints.๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

Iโ€™ve never seen those before. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I want a little haggis doll now. ๐Ÿฅบ@helensusanswift
helensusanswift ยท 31-35, F
@SW-User no doubt the Scottish Tourist Board sells them. I am sure I had one as a child but fed it to Nessie later.

๐Ÿ˜‚ Oh no. @helensusanswift

Haggis are very dangerous animals so are hunted with special type of blowpipe. In addition to a fairly standard blowpipe, it comprises a resevoir of air and three more pipes. Those pipes are arranged so that the hunter can continue shooting at the haggis as he's running away from it in case the first shot doesn't kill outright.

A wounded haggis makes a terrifying mournful wail that scares the Hell out of the English. Scots warriors have trained haggis for that purpose to take into battle.

@Lynda70 Now you are giving away our secrets! We try not to tell anybody about the haggis breeding stations we have hidden, awaiting the call to rise and recover our land. King Malcolm II started the killer-haggis clans, and used them at the Battle of Barry and the Battle of Carham. Then King Rab followed on and now Wee Nic is following suite. But that's a secret.
