Mae, you’re so beautiful
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@Snyderp69 Thank you. 😊

She was an icon! Did you know she converted to Judaism? Interesting that there were so many insecurities in her mind.

When I was about 5 years old, I was playing dress-up with all my little cousins, (I think we were ripping into someone's mother's closet...🤣), and I told my cousins that Marilyn Monroe was my REAL mother...🤣🤣🤣.

@4meAndyou I loved their music! My sisters and I would pretend to be them. Dress up and sing.

@SweetMae Picturing that...must have been a riot!!🤣

I have a mixed reaction.
I do think love is to be there when someone is at their worst, love them, and i do exactly that.

Maybe it's the way I'm reading it, but this sounds a little like an excuse to be selfish and behave however you like and the other person just has to deal with it. Oh, but sometimes I'll be great.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@Abstraction I understand. She had psychological issues. I am not saying anyone should have to live with that. She needed professional help. Intentional selfish and hurtful behavior is never acceptable.

@Abstraction I appreciate you sharing how you felt about this quote.
Marilyn Monroe was a very needful woman there was no one man who could quench her full-time lust she probably slept with more guys than most other Hollywood personalities combined and I surely miss her we were a great team it's not over till it's over one of her favorite sayings while clothed her role now is bigger than anyone can imagine and probably unbelievable I lived with her several years many didn't know she has multiple personalities
@SweetMae she was severely troubled ...she wanted the whole world to love her.
She was fostered out, and forever sought the love amd appreciation of others.

It was very sad.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@DRDEATH I'm sure she will always be an unforgettable memory to you. Do you care to share how you worked together?
SweetMae · 70-79, F
I was young when I remember her. I think they may have been some of her healthier years. @OogieBoogie
MoonlightLullaby · 41-45, F
She was epic awesome & the world just never knew to what extent her intelligence was. Such a misplaced and misunderstood soul.💕🌟
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@MoonlightLullaby Thank you for the link!
MoonlightLullaby · 41-45, F
@SweetMae Absolutely. For what it's worth, I don't see anything wrong with the quote itself 🤭
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@MoonlightLullaby I don't either unless someone takes it too far. 🌹💕
summersong · F
I love this 💚
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@summersong I do too! 🌹
Peaches · F
My sister had some of the BEST photos and posters of her, ⭐ I don't know where she got them. I LOVE this quote!😍💫
Peaches · F
@SweetMae I remember how much you like her, ⭐ so I'm not surprised!
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@Peaches I admired her for daring to be different. But, sadly she took that too far.
Peaches · F
@SweetMae She never found the love she wanted. People (some) suffer in silence then turn to alcohol and drugs to numb the pain. Many don't make it.💙😢
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
She was so gorgeous during her time. Tragic her life ended to soon.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@Barefooter25 Very tragic!
Very true of people's personalities:)
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@Jimthere4fun Yes! It is.
