I Miss My Friend That Died

Youve been gone almost as long as you were alive here. The day you went to the hospital is burnt into my memory, i remember every smell, every detail as me and K cried and cried waiting, praying that this wasnt the end. Its been almost 15 years and i still think about you everyday. You taught me to love the friends who are still here even harder. Even though i still cry because i miss you, my heart is still full with the memories of every fun day we had, I can see your laugh, and your twinkly eyes and silly faces. Im grateful you were my friend while you were here. Ill always love you.
