Mercedes ... good question ... valuing life is not a rule, it is a value ... I value life more than money, fashion and convenience. There is more "there" there ... others balance life quality vs factors. Which trivializes life.

Remember .. burning building ... the fireman doesn't check first to see if the occupants passed 12th grade, speak English and their slacks are color coordinated.

If we don't understand the value of all life .. we could never appreciate a fireman.
