Turned the stove on an hour ago because I was about to cook
ended up falling asleep and I’m just now waking back up. I almost burnt the house down

My ex-husband, drunk, would have managed burning the house down if our dog hadn't roused him from his stupor. The kitchen was a casualty. He left a cast iron skillet full of cooking oil on high and passed out in his recliner.
