What would you do?

If your good friend is having a rough patch because they don't want to change their situation. How can you help someone when they don't want to help themselves. I call such people losers who know their problem, they know the solution but they only wana cry about it. I am so pissed, this happens every 6 months. My friend is not happy with the job but don't wana change it coz of the comfort zone.

I read a quote once that made a lot of sense..."People find it easier to cry, than to change."

People who look for the same "help" over and over, without ever taking it, aren't looking for help; they're looking for someone to commiserate with.

There's only so much attention I can give to that.

There’s only so much you can do. I’m blunt and would tell them to fix their shit instead of sulking in it. I’ve been told im not great at being helpful though so idk if you should do that.

@ExploreroftheUnknown I have been telling to switch the job over for 5 years now..
Tell them to piss off and whine to someone else
@SW-User I don’t understand what the problem is. You’re coming here to complain, you asked a question and you don’t like my response. Seems a little ironic to me....

@RemovedUsername650611 telling your good friend to piss off is not a great response
@SW-User well they can either cry about it over and over again to you (which sounds like is the case) or they can grow up, be an adult, and do something about their problems. Simple.
