Have you ever called the cops on your neighbor for a loud party?

Yes the kids upstairs in my old apartment complex had huge parties and I couldn't sleep and I called the cops on them. Unfortunately, they don't have to answer the door when the cop knocks. They just ignored him so that didn't help matters. Also what didn't help matters is we didn't have a manager on site anymore. I think that definitely should be illegal and perhaps it is and they went against the law.

I'm not a party animal, keep to myself and don't like loud noises (except race engines, but that's another story); but I recognise that I'm the freak, and don't want to be the grinch that spoils other people's fun.
HOWEVER if it's still going full volume past 1.00, that's enough - you've had enough time for your party, your turn to acknowledge my right to peace. So yes I will call the cops.
And if you turn the noise up again after the cops leave, not only will I call them again, I will fire up my unmuffled weed whacker right next to your fence at 6.30am 😈

I wish I had! The party began at midnight. Was outside with a pro DJ. LOUD! as Loud as music can be played. Was interesting the mix of music. But at 4am a great guy fell off the cliff and died. He was only 23. If I phoned ....

I'd never do that unless they were threatening my safety or maybe theirs in a particular circumstance. I support wild life!

A few times. Had the cops called on us because of the noise. But the loud party was across the canyon. Not near my place
