I Think Good Health and Physical Fitness Is a Top Priority

I’m big, 350 lbs and carry it mostly in my belly. It used to not bother me but lately when I wear pants it looks ridiculous, and I feel embarrassed if my shirt rides up because then you see the seam of the jeans digging into this huge lump. Ugh.. I have no waist, just a huge tub of belly fat and it’s really difficult to carry around. I can’t do a sit up, I have a hard time getting up off the floor, I can’t fit in some booth seating, the steering wheel stabs into my tummy and I can’t push my seat back any farther. My issue is I’m so addicted to food I feel like a coke head or something I try and cut out soda but then at dinner time I find myself having one.

How tall are you?
I am around 216lbs and started to encounter my weight becoming a hindrance after 200. Clothes riding up and exposing, things fitting strangely or looking odd because of my shape etc. I couldn't get a file off a shelf at work because my belly stopped me getting near enough for my arms to reach up.
As an answer below mentions it feels like a turning point, where I feel I want to lose a lot of inches and reduce my weight. Sounds like you should do something about it too if your life is being negatively affected. You need to change the relationship with food, it will take some will power but change your habits.

You can make it melt off you if you are persistent.

@MichelleMay The biggest way is to get active!

I know, it’s just so hard to be active when I’m always so uncomfortable during exercise and then when I do I tend to decide to “treat myself” and go overboard and it’s adding up @SW-User

@MichelleMay Make goals and increase in tiny increments every day. It works. And don't load up on sugary or concentrated sweets. You can gradually decrease your food intake too. Most of all be consistent!

Maybe you’ve reached a turning point

At what age did you start gaining too much weight?

@MichelleMay well when we compare, we all can say that. Ya know?

Do you find food comforts you?
MichelleMay · 26-30, F
That’s very true. Yeah I do I feel like I’m constantly eating something and it’s probably because I feel numb.. but I also eat when I’m happy too like to “celebrate” but I think I’m finally reaching a point where I just can’t get any bigger and I have to face it somehow @Peaceful

@MichelleMay where does the numb feeling come from?
After you eat does that numb feeling go away for a bit?
Damn at least you have youth on your side. Better check into a weight loss clinic or something
