The headmistress dealt with all equally, it was just some of the lady classroom teachers who seemed to have differing standards.

@Petra1960 The lady teachers in my school could really use the slipper as well. Our headmistress was very proficient with her cane as well.

@Codrin How were girls disciplined? If they weren't completely out of control the school must have had some very effective method in place. That same method could have been used with boys. Now CP has been banned in many countries, that same method can now be used to replace it.

Maybe at home, I do not know, for on those times we chatted about CPs only between us boys.

PS: Oh, I remembered that during my secondary school a girls was expelled for repeated misbehaviour.

@Codrin The point is, the schools had a very effective alternative to CP. They ought to use it now instead of whining that the ban on CP has led to a breakdown in discipline. That's clearly an outright lie.

@Jonathanzee When I was deputy, all boys private school, i often had to cane or slipper boys after school. This could be seen from the pathway leading to the field and not only could the slipper and cane be seen to be used but a clear view could be obtained of boys bending over the chair and the slipper or cane landing on a bare bottom. A girls school about ten minures away also used the cane but only on knickers. Both schools were 8-13. We closed early one day and some boys went up to the girls school with the intent of having a laugh at seeing if they could see a girl being caned. It appeared they saw three girls getting on their knickers before being caught. They were report to the head and it was demanded that i cane the boys bare bottoms and the girls headmistress was to be allowed in the office to see it. The head agreed and the five boys, all 11, were told to report to muy office after school where they would get six of the cane on their bare bottoms. The caning was carried out with the headmistress watching while i caned their bare bottoms.
About three weeks later the rolls were reversed. Six girls were watch some boys getting the slipper or cane and seeing it done on their bare bottoms. They were caught and reported. The headmistress refused point blank to punish the girls and said it was a natural thing for 12 year old girls to see a boy nude. She said it was the boys fault for being in trouble.
TAlk about double standards. If boys sneek into a girls school and see girls caned on their knickers they get six on their bare bottoms. However is girls sneek in to see the boys getting it, it is fully acceptable and the girls not punished and its the boys faults foe being in trouble.

The relationship between the two schools was, to say the least, very bad after this and remained so for about ten years.
