Do you have an interesting animal encounter?

I had one last night. Was playing tennis and saw a coyote dart past and into the woods, not 15 feet away.
About ten minutes later, there was a loud ruckus, wild yelps and inhuman screams emitting from those very same woods. We figured the coyote caught a raccoon, perhaps a baby, and the mother raccoon was fighting for it, or was upset. It lasted about three minutes, the sound travelling back and forth in the fescue, but out of sight of our prying eyes.
About an hour later as I sat in my car after the match, the howls and calls of the coyotes (there were numerous ones) rose from the dark. I stopped to record the sound...it was both haunting and beautiful.
