I believe I remember that Associations for the Blind May offer help with that...could be wrong. Help in the form of frames,,not glasses.

There’s a website offering $30 glasses. Might get you through. I empathize. If I lose or break mine I am sunk.

There is programs for low-income people to get glasses check in your area and you might be able to get your glasses for nothing
