I used to be able to talk to an empty room and not stutter but now I can't even do that. Saw myself in the mirror while stuttering and I look like an ogre having a seizure. That's why I can't blame anyone who laughs at me.
I remember how my teacher said "For god's sake laugh when you think something is funny, if you think my stuttering is funny then laugh, I don't want there to be any tension between us. In fact I'll laugh with you on this matter." and it never became a problem, best teacher I ever had. 😣
I have a teacher with a really bad stutter problem, when he stutters he looks somewhat like a dead fish. However everyone respects him and people tell him "I don't even think about your stuttering anymore", and he said to them "That's because you get used to it" but I also want to add something to what he said... People won't pay attention to your stuttering in the long run, it's your personality they'll be thinking about.
