I Am Scared of Relationships

I’m someone who will get very nervous when I’m dating a new guy and it takes me forever to get use to him. However, this is something my Mom told me that brought a different insight to why that is. To her, the reason I’m so nervous is because those weren’t the right type of men for me. I’ll know when the right one comes along when we meet for the first time and I feel at ease around him.

people have reason to be worried when dating new people that they dont have a prior relationship with. you dont know anything about them and most people start off on their best behavior. just because you feel at ease in the beginning or you dont, says nothing about what the long-term will be like
