I Am Confused

@LifeHurts66 Unfortunately this kind of things happens quite often. You are not the only one in this situation. I think contractors are some of the lowest and worst kinds of people I've encountered.

I know I’m not the only one but I know it makes everybody mad. I’m considering on being a contractor myself but I would actually work for the money and not cut corners. I take pride into everything I do, especially at school and if it does not please me I will redo it over and over again until I am satisfied. Wouldn’t you rather pay someone a little more to get the house you actually expect to get if not better?@infiniterealism

@LifeHurts66 yes. It's better to pay more and get something good. But if the contractor is bad more money don't help. I also thought of becoming a contractor once too after I realized how many of them are stupid.

@LifeHurts66 Shaking my head. There was always shoddy workmanship but that used to be the wxception, not the rule.

I know but he did cut as much corners as possible. I just looked at the blueprints for the house and the outside walls were suppose to be all brick but it’s just those cheap plastic sidings and he got the cheapest doors and locks he possibly could. And all of the exterior doors do not properly seal so we have to run the a/c 24/7 in the summer and the heat 24/7 in the winter.@Mamapolo2016

It is vinyl and the joints do taper at the walls. But it’s even worse in the kitchen where there is a huge visible crack in the wall above the doorway.@WetpantsBoy

But at tht angle? I mean he could have at least tried to minimize it as much as possible. For $300,000.00 we would expect some nice angles .@SW-User

At work they installed new bathroom stall dividers and cut some holes in the wrong places and just left it like that. They also somehow managed to scrape up the insides of a few toilet bowls. Idiots.

But apparently somebody complained and eventually it got redone. I work for the federal government so maybe they had the clout to force it to be fixed, or withhold payment. But not all the toilet bowls are scrape free.

Now, if we could only get my male colleagues to pee in the bowl and urinal, and not all over the rim and seats, and floor, then the bathroom would be good. It is so disgusting.
