I Had a Seizure

I had a seizure today at work. Thankfully, I'd just finished teaching a class and was on my way back to my office when I got the aura. I managed to make it to the student support office which is halfway between my classroom and office and is where the first aiders are located. Barely made it but I did and that's the main thing.
I made it through the rest of my day at work. My department head wanted me to go home but I had a class this afternoon that I've been planning for ages and didn't want to hand over to a sub.

After being brave enough to tell my sort of boyfriend about my epilepsy last night I continued the honesty theme and told him what happened and he's insisting on coming over after his ridiculously intense gym session (one thing I don't understand about him 😂)

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm used to just looking after myself after a seizure and sleeping it off etc. It's kind of weird to have somebody want to check in and look after me. But I guess it's better than the alternative. Yesterday I was scared of telling him in case I scared him away.

Naw....just give him the chance to show his feelings!☺️

@Psychologykate No, you are over thinking this. That has absolutely nothing to do with you being a potential mate or partner. Actually it is good you told him in case you have another and he freaks out! Teach him how to handle the situation. He will be fine.☺️

@Oster1 yeah we had a conversation about it last night. He's had a student with epilepsy before so he's all good in terms of first aid etc but I guess we'll know how good he actually is with it when he actually sees me have one.

Guys like to feel useful. If he can't physically 'kick it's @$$' he can at least look after you.

I used to have them, when I was young.

I don't, anymore.

@Sidewinder you're very lucky to no longer have them.
