Americans: What were you doing on 9/11/01 when the crash happened?

I was working as a medical transcriptionist at the hospital when a coworker got an email saying planes had crashed into the Twin Towers.

i was at home, watching it live on the television. it was surreal, and then it turned horrific when people started jumping and when the towers collapsed.

@SW-User yea it was fucked up watching them jump imagining that they knew they was gonna die but had no choice really sad

@ExperienceDLT would most likely die of no oxygen/smoke inhalation first, but i imagine the rising heat could be felt too.

@SW-User yea and I imagine even though its messed up to say but alot of people likely got killed instantly when the plane hit anyways

@ExperienceDLT absolutely that happened, no doubt. it was essentially a flying bomb. some were definitely killed instantly.
