😭I can't have it anymore. (Lactose intolerant now). Lindsey's restaurant in Wareham, Massachusetts has the most amazing bowl of seafood bisque on the planet. HUGE chunks of lobster, shrimp, and scallops in a sherry seasoned creamy thick broth.
Nowadays, my faves are Gumbo with chicken and sausage, Jambalaya with chicken, ham and shrimp, and Habitant pea soup. I also make a lot of homemade soups like "cream" of tomato with rice, made with coconut milk and chunks of diced tomato.

@MarmeeMarch Yes, and I tried them. Apparently there are levels of lactose intolerance, and I am at defcon 1.

@Browneyes30 The main ingredients are a chicken broth base, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, chopped celery, chopped green bell pepper, garlic, bay leaf, worcestershire sauce, okra (sold frozen), rice, smoked sausage, chicken and shrimp. The okra adds a gummy base to the soup. You also have to use a spice called Gumbo File, which comes in powdered form. It is the powdered leaf of the sassafras tree. There are lots of great recipes online.

@emptysoul44 No she doesn't. She goes to the ladies room, like a lady, and pukes in the trash bucket while perching on the pot in a ladylike manner.

@emptysoul44 The ex used to tease me, said I was like a sea gull in that regard. Coffee with cream, and ice cream always brought out the sea gull in me. But now...things are super bad now. I have to read the labels on everything. If there is lowfat milk powder, or things that are made from milk...it's a no go. Even bread. I can eat Indian naan bread made with water, no problem. If I eat the Walmart Sams club brand made with milk...I'm dying. It's like being poisoned.
