Which do you think is worse: your partner cheating on you with multiple people once or with one person for a long period of time?

Both are nasty. It doesn’t make the loser look better either way.

Both are sad.. However long term is worse. Short term implies lust with minimal emotional connection. Long term implies a mental and physical connection.

In my opinion both are equally as detrimental. Both shatter trust regardless of frequency or seclusion.

The long term, there'd be only one person to murder

Easier for me to move past if multiple partners, as they didn’t love me at all. A cheating partner over a long time, means they actually loved someone else, and is a much deeper layer of betrayal to me.

Hmm, both are bad. Maybe the long period of time, because it is a long term lie/dishonor they take part in continually.

Downsides for either, multiples mean that sex doesn't mean anything and possibly more exposure to stds, one means that they are responsible and just more into someone else. I guess the one, long term.

The long time relationship because it indicates an emotional attachment. Multiple one-nighters indicates the person likes sex with no strings attached, just for fun or to meet some internal need. Neither is good.

The long term affair is worse. Because they have that intimacy that comes with a long term relationship. Several affairs, well it's just sex.
