I Think Arrogance Is Annoying

When you're having a "debate" or discussion w/ someone and then instead of replying with a valid point or argument, they try to correct you spelling. " It's you're not your." Yeah I hate that stuff.

IDK if that even comes from a place of arrogance... well perhaps due to not wanting to admit your wrong I guess. It's a logical fallacy and incredibly unoriginal. To claim a misspelled word automatically makes a whole entire argument invalid.

It's part and parcel of deflecting attention from their faulty argument to your moment of inattention. It's petty and mean-spirited. I love when, as so often happens, they make errors while criticizing mine.

@Mamapolo2016 lol thats always something. It particularly annoys me when they try gas lighting like "why are you getting so mad" or "relax lol" 🤦‍♀️ I'm not angry I thought we were having a conversation.
😂 When some ill-mannered youthful person calls me "grandma"
I know I won, so I just smile and walk away.😊@LikeTheSun

@Mamapolo2016 As you rightfully should!!☺️
😂😂I had someone block me yesterday after they tried it, &called them out on it
I will point out they will never, never, never, never, never, and I do mean never, admit they were wrong or were at a loss for rebuttal. Don't waste your youth waiting for that. 😂😂😂@LikeTheSun

@Mamapolo2016 Is "Grandma" an insult? I've heard it a few times, but not sure. I admit that I kind of like the nickname.
I love it when it comes from my grandchildren, and I was a grandma (step) at 36. When it comes from someone to whom I am not related and with whom I am not acquainted, and is not used in any affectionate or reapectful context, I take it as an attempt to convey the idea that I am old (which I am) and irrelevant (which I am not). @greenmountaingal

@Mamapolo2016 I was having a "discussion" here the other day. The person finally ended it with …" I win...you loose!"
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Fernie loose or lose? 🤷‍♀️
😂😂😂. I jokingly posted I had finished a class for tutoring English as a second language and said I got my 'Suttificate.'

Some Dudley Spellright galloped in on his grammar horse, informed the world it was "Certificate,"
and I was both an impostor and a, and I quote, "dumass." @Fernie

@Harriet03 he thought he was a fekking genius throughout the conversation...then he wrote loose instead of lose. I was delighted by this and reamed him with it😈
Usually I try not to stoop to their level but I admit I could not let 'dumass' pass.

I pointed out that 'dumb' usually came with a B, and he must have agreed, because he Blocked me. @Fernie
