I Want To Tell You What I'M Doing Today
I’m doing an experiment to see how much time extroverts waste talking about trivial things.
I’m counting every time a conversation happens about something non-work-related, that I can hear through noise-cancelling headphones and music (David Bowie, today.)
We’ve been here for 2 hours and 45 minutes. So far, there’s a total of 55 minutes wasted on babbling.
UPDATE:
The total for the whole workday was 111 minutes, or 1 hour and 51 minutes.
So, almost two hours the talkative people were not doing any work themselves, and also preventing anybody else from getting any work done by being noisy.
