@Eternity it’s not even a double standard thing. not all “young hot guys 5’8-6’0” want what you just listed for you to be saying “you better be...” just let her state her type and move on, i don’t why you gotta say all that🙄 this is such a common thing for men to do. i can be like “i want a tall guy” and some short ass guy is gonna be like “well yeah it’s not like you’re 120lbs” like??? what? that makes no sense for you to bring up in this convo. plus all the guys i’ve ever dated were over 6’0 except for one so idk why this guy was tripping. my point is, your comment really has no relevancy to the original post. she wasn’t asking you for your type but whatever

It's funny how you all like to harp about "men only want one thing" and "men are so shallow" when in reality yall are just as shallow and just as vapid (ceteris paribus).
Yes it's okay to like what you like but, pragmatically speaking, the men who meet your parameters can do better than you. Which might be why so many women seem to have trouble keeping a faithful man these days; Punching above your weight is a great way to end up dropped both in boxing and in dating.
The key to happiness isnt getting more; its wanting less.
I'm not as picky as what I said above. I only said that to throw a stone into a pack of dogs to see which one would yelp.
