I Am Frustrated By Today's Fragmented Customer Service

The saga continues. The insurance company tweeted me back and asked me to DM them. So I did:

I tweeted a couple of hours ago because Insurance Company will not cover a bone density test that my doctor set up - at the same facility where she works! You guys covered the original appointment with her - which took place at that facility. Why do I now have to ask the doctor to set up the test at a different facility? IT’S THE SAME LOCATION YOU COVERED BEFORE.

I’m facing the identical situation. My doctor is in network. The facility where she refers patients for labs and x-rays somehow is [b]not[/b]. And it’s a difference of $480.00 out of pocket. So I’ve had to find labs and urgent care places that the insurance recommends, rather than that of my [i][b]doctor[/b][/i] (whom I trust), if I’m going to keep costs manageable. 🤦🏽‍♀️
