My beautiful boy, primaris Pedro Kantor He's missing a couple of things, specifically a hand snd an ammo feed, but he's effectively done. I rarely convert models, and for my favourite character it was worth it. He came out pretty good I think.
So I might be buying a Leviathan Dreadnought? Just spoke to a friend who I know through the store, and he said that he had a Leviathan Dreadnought with a Grav Flux Bombard and Siege Drill he'd be willing to sell me for $30. Apparently the legitimacy of it is questionable, but it's unassembled so...See More »
Writing out some thoughtsThis is an addition of something I posted about tanks a few days ago. I've been playing around with possible combinations, and think I found one I like. All of the possibilities are built around having a Techmarine as the leader, just with varying...See More »
Just more stuffI doubt anyone reads these, because it's pointless. Been considering some advice for a Bladeguard list I got yesterday, to reduce the squads from 6 models each to 5, and use the resulting freed-up models to make the characters I was planning on...See More »
More Warhammer stuffI'm going full Primaris for my Crimson Fists, and that means I need tanks because they're awesome. However, there is a small problem that there really aren't that many to choose from: there's Repulsors and their Executioner variant, and there's the...See More »
So it's a gothic cathedral, but also a tank. I mean, it's a cool model. But what a wild concept. All those tiny details are going to be hell to paint. For reference, it's the Warhammer 40,000 Immolator model. It's covered in flamethrowers to purge the heretics, I guess.
Suck it, scalpers! A few weeks ago, I posted that one of my friends picked up a limited edition box set for me that sold out immediately worldwide. Well, we finally met up and we exchanged money for the box! This is what has all the scalpers online going nuts. I...See More »
This month's free mini is Pink Horrors I got in first and grabbed the unit leader, called an Iridescent Horror. It's been started on, and I'm trying to go for an iridescent effect. Going to do a light drybrush of bright silver, and then gold on the armour. Not sure what else to add.
Imperial FistsSince finishing Rogal Dorn, I've been thinking about what else to add to my Imperial Fists force. I know I want to add a Contemptor Dreadnought and another tactical squad. Beyond that, I'd love a couple of Cataphractii terminator squads with shields...See More »
I swear I'm not a serial killer (Don't worry - it's not graphic, just gray plastic) I swear I'm not a serial killer, but I mean, I do have these headless torsos standing next to my pile of severed elf heads, so I don't know. This is a weird hobby.
Hobby updateToday saw the last of the old marines being harvested for Project Rubicon. The only ones left now are the three Dreadnoughts (because I love Dreadnoughts) and Pedro Kantor himself. I think I might now have more shoulder pads than I can actually use -...See More »
Project Rubicon has begun The first of the old marines have been harvested and their upgrades given to an Intercessor Squad. There was resistance, but in the end they yielded.
Crimson Fists Casualty Report 2Since last time, my Crimson Fists have shrunk further from 6500 points to 5480 points. Most of the Firstborn have been replaced with Primaris, and those left folded into 1st Company - this is mainly Dreadnoughts both regular and Venerable, and the...See More »
So I did the thing I've been wanting to do for months and now I'm utterly terrified.I bought Rogal Dorn, the Primarch of the Imperial Fists Legion. I was always planning on getting him, but can't help but feel terrified at the prospect of having spent that much money essentially on a whim and leaving myself dead broke. Luckily my...See More »
Casualty report for Crimson FistsMuch remains, but much also has been lost. Lost to the predations of Ork and Chaos, or reborn across the Rubicon Primaris. All who can serve still shall do so when most the chapter needs them Tonight has been hard, but through reorganisation and...See More »
Culling the Emperor's finest :(I've played space marines of various sorts for 15 years now, from my original Ultramarines tactical squad which grew into a decent force of Crimson Fists before being sold in 2010/11, to my little collection of Grey Knights in 5th edition...See More »
