Picture having your baby depend on others to give them what they need instead of their own mother. Think of them growing up knowing you decided to have a baby being fully aware you couldn’t provide for them. That you put your wants ahead of their needs. Think what that would do to a person & how that could impact any relationship you may have. Love any future child you could have enough to be prepared before you bring them into this world. If being a mother is a goal of yours do everything you can now so you are able to give your family whatever they need. So that they can grow up with a model parent to look up to. That is some true sacrifice & love.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I have to talk to so many doctors before even trying to get pregnant. That's why I always use protection plus my IUD. I am scared that I'll pass down the epilepsy and ruin a child's life too.

@fluteacorn because society pressures us into having kids. Its a norm and praised. Be careful hon and take time, if when you're older and financially well and you still want a child, go for it. Just make sure you understand a child is a big responsibility and can drain your money. Also make sure you're with the RIGHT one. You dont want a man to leave you as soon as you have the child. [ happened with one of my friends ]

I understand my own mother died at 33 of a genetic condition that could show up at anytime for me or any future generations if I were to reproduce. It’s good to understand what the risks are it’s the best way to become prepared for possible realities @fluteacorn

I babysat my little brothers for around 11 years every single day afterschool. Couldn't hang out with my friends. Couldn't go shopping. Couldn't walk out of the house until after 8pm if I was lucky. This happened most weekends as well. Trust me,watching someone for a day, a year, five years is fine. But you're going to have to watch them for 18 YEARS. Nah fam. Dont do it
Get a job as a nanny looking after other people's babies and toddlers for three or four hours while the parents go out for a bit of respite.
Practice getting up and doing ten minutes of chores every two hours throughout the night, without fail, for two weeks. Make sure you do it during college or work holidays, or your work will suffer.

@fluteacorn I have a 4 year old son who now thinks he no longer has to listen to anything mommy and daddy say, and an 8 month old who is teething

You're never ready Mentally.. You got to adapt to having a baby on the run as you have one..
Financially well the desire to have a baby should be the motivating factor which causes you to strive to become Financially able..
Trying to destroy your instinct to become a mother is probably a waste of time..
