A generation has now been born and grown to adulthood since I was a young adult myself, and yes, I think they're taller. When I visited my sister a few years ago one day a lot of my nephew's friends were around, and they were all 5cm taller than me at least!
Improvements in nutrition are part of the story; indeed, poor nutrition in parts of the country in the prewar era certainly resulted in some underdeveloped adults. But also it may be the case that tallness is 'selected for'; put simply, they might have more offspring.

As people’s diets have generally improved over the centuries then so too has their weight and height 🙂

Not sure on averages maybe people are getting a bit taller and for each generation women are pushing average bra size up maybe?

I heard an interesting convo about this, the average height DOES grow taller over the generators. It seems like 5’10 is the average Guy height for Yankees and 5’7 for females.

Hmmmm, well, we did grow slowly over the years. Since the people of the middle ages were supposed to be around 1.50 meters
