I Am An EP Refugee

It is amazing that it is almost a year since EP Shut down, I liked the site I was on it from October 2010 until it shut down on the 21st April, 2016
An easy site to use and far more members than Similar Worlds.

... and more stories. It was also easier to comment on your own groups, because only comments pertaining to them came up on the news feed..

I wasn't on EP long but i loved it. I have only been on here 2 days but i feel EP was a little better this is a good substitute though.

EP had a lot of energy and I really enjoyed it. However, the ads were intrusive and laced with computer viruses. SW has done a much better job with ads, although as I type I see an ad for Hot Russian Ladies Online.

The ads here stay in the margins- on EP it got to be impossible to find the content with ads all over the screen.

I miss a lot of my EP friends who didn't migrate. It's great that you are here, Sally!

I thought that the EP news feed was better. There was more incentive to add people as friends, and it was easier to stay in touch with them...

@walabby: I and many others have been making this point for ages. I'm afraid the responses from the authorities tend to defend the existing arrangements rather than promise changes.

@moonlighting Yes definitely. I met such wonderful people there to have real conversations and discussions with. I made some life-long friends there as well. I hope those people start migrating over here in greater numbers.

Yes, I agree. In particular, it was much easier to keep up with one's friends on EP.

I was on EP from 2008 till it closed. It was a good site and I made a lot of good friends there. I went through spells where I wasn't on there a lot but I did always stay in touch with my friends. SW is good too and it will get better as more people join. Most of the fakes are already here lol. That's the sad part

I loved ep, so many good friends, so few made it here, perhaps they do not know. it was only serendipity for me, somebody's off comment on another site people left to go to.

Eh I was on ep the last year it was up, it was full of pedos, pervs, trolls and immature people. This site still has that just not as much

I do not think so, it started as a site to speak to each other on topics that interested people to exchange stories on health topics etc, but it slipped into a naughty site.I liked it.
