I Am An EP Refugee

In the beginning, I allowed myself to hope that EP would come back. It was such an indispensable part of my life that I could not accept its loss. I searched high and low for another site that provides the same service - and despite finding several that claim to be the same - none could possibly compare. EP was perfect!😤

In time I had to come to terms with the fact that EP would not be coming back, so I did the only thing I really could... I came here. It will never be EP, but it fills the void left behind by EP. Perhaps that is good enough? After all, I have come to enjoy this site and value the people it has brought upon my path. It still serves its purpose.

I am of the belief that sites like EP and SW are vital in this day and age. They serve as a compendium of varying perspectives and human experiences. These things are just as important to learn about as the facts inside any encyclopedia. It serves as the collective wisdom - or lack thereof - of people from all walks of life. It’s got to count for something, doesn’t it?

Regardless, this EP refugee will keep posting. I have to believe that some good can come of this... even if all it does is give me a safe space to process and express my thoughts.
