I Really Love the Mountains

The mountains. You can't get away from them where I live. They are everywhere. But their colours change. From minute to minute. Sometimes they look grey and just a shape. Sometimes every colour of the rainbow is there. Red, the colour of the old red sandstone cliffs. Orange, the colour of bracken dying back in the Autumn. Yellow, the colour of dying grass. Green, the grass growing in the summer. Blue, the colour of the sky a few days a year! Indigo, the colour of the streams. Violet, the colour of the heather in the Autumn. I love the mountains because they are different every day.
