I Really Love the Mountains

I live in a mountainous country. Where I live is only the foothills of the mountains but you can see so much. If the weather is clear you can even see the mountains in the next country. I often go for walks in the mountains in the summer. Mostly I go on my own. No one else is interested! The nearest big mountain is the Black Mountain. I love to go to a place where a stream suddenly plunges down a waterfall into a ravine. I love the sound of the water. And there is a little mountain ash tree in the gorge and it hasn't grown much since I went there as a small kid. But somehow it clings on to life.
