@BridgeOvertroubledWaters Thank you. I love taking pictures of our wildlife.
Camera goes with me everywhere.
Not Phone Camera. Digital SLR 40xZoom.
I want to get a better one so I can take great up close pictures of Spiders and Flowers.
This one is no good at really close up shots.
@Gusman If I wanted to make a few bucks photographing kids and critters and married couples etc...would this be a good camera to get some jobs, I can set up a composition well, but know nothing of stick-shift (so to speak) cameras and working the timing and color etc....
lol

is this one of them, is it expensive, to get some real freelance jobs is it a good one?

@Elevatorpitches It takes okay photos, Use a tripod.
The User Manuals explain everything easily.
I have no idea what you mean by, Stick-Shift Cameras.
This one was about, AU$250, US$180 two and a half years ago.
@Gusman user controlled...not built in controls

that's what I mean...anyway ty much for the advice, and its actually affordable

But I want good close ups too!
Gusman61-69, M
@Elevatorpitches My camera has all those built in controls which can be switched off.
Zoom is manually controlled easily
