I Hate Body Shaming

The idea that my dad keeps on body shaming me makes me really sad and I cannot stop overthinking about it really much. I don't say any words when he does that. But it's hurting me. Always telling myself I'm an ugly person because of it.

Is he merely suggesting you lose some weight? Because that wouldn't be body shaming. It would be caring advice: if you ever want to get a man and live a long healthy life.

My stepdad always did the same to me even though he's way fatter than me. I exercise and everything, he doesn't do any of that. And I've lost almost 50 lbs since 2018 and kept it off since then.
