I Hate Asking For Help

I hear ya! It's been the bane of my existence not being able to ask anyone for help! When I was young, my father would charge us an hourly dollar fee plus the going rate of interest to help us out - it instilled in us early that you don't ask anyone for help if it isn't absolutely necessary! I think you just have to learn to swallow your pride and accept help from people that care for you. Hard to do, but so worth it in the end!

I hate asking for help. I was always taught that asking for help was ok but my family was never well off so within our family, we knew that asking for someone for help would be a huge burden. Of course family would be more than willing to help, but you always felt sorry for burdening anyone else. I was taught to work hard for what I need by taking action myself. It is something I still carry around. Sometimes it ican be a bit if a problem. Asking for help is a very difficult thing for me to do.
