Seriously, should recreational drugs be decriminalized?

Would it solve any problems?

yes 3 problems , 1) cops can focus on more serious crimes , 2) less prisoners the city has to pay for in the jail system and if like weed is legalized then 3) the government can make a huge income and hopefully spend it on homelessness or the less fortunate

If you decriminalized it, it would have to be subjected to the same laws and conditions as any other drugs. ie. Taxed to high heavens

I think that having drugs and or growing weed should be legal

But that giving them to minors or other peiple against their will should be illegal of course

I personally dont do drugs or even drink.. I just think its dumb but i dont think things like weed should be outlawed..

@Hdryder555 look at the obvious examples. Alcohol, a drug is legal. Weed is not. Lets start with weed.

Criminalizing weed, does not solve any of the three problems mentioned legal weed is regulated and taxed, making it way more expensive than illegal weed, so there is still a market for illegally grown and sold weed, so cops are still looking for it, and still putting people in prison for it, and what ever the government makes the last thing the government will ever think of is the homeless and less fortunate 😒

@Ryanoliver2011 decriminalizing drugs is not the same as allowing impaired driving. Alcohol is legal and mot every other person on the road is drunk.
