Yes I can fully understand why this bothers you! The bottom line is... If he can log into Facebook do a status then he should as sure as hell be messaging you, it does not take even a minute to write 'hello' do not satisfy for anything less... You deserve to be loved ..tell him you will not be second best to Facebook ..if he sees that as controlling or needy tell him how I bet he be pissed if you did it to him.....it's a about respect and you being strong and assertive . :)

Remember being assertive is so very different than appearing needy or passive aggressive ...you have needs
