I guess because when a boy says I think I’m a girl,instead of saying,no your a boy,a parent pumps them full of chemicals to change gender?

I don't know about the autistic, but Neuro and psychological issues are likely related to their dysphoria paired with social pressures to conform to traditional expectations paired with the outright hatred they get as they grow older and try to express themselves.
