Fathers please don't obsess over your daughter's virginity, it's creepy and gross.

poisonouscupcake · 22-25, F
@ all those men who leave “this is why i don’t want a daughter comments”
poisonouscupcake · 22-25, F
@Straylight we could start a hitlist👀
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@poisonouscupcake Concern trolls. Fucking hate them.

They don't give a shit about anything, they just want you to shut up.
poisonouscupcake · 22-25, F
@CountScrofula you’re our token good man😌
NickiHijab · F
Men are just annoying.
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
@NickiHijab sorry to hear all of us are :(
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
SO FUCKING CREEPY
Straylight · 31-35, F
Society in general needs to quit it's weird obsession with virginity.
thiccchungles · 22-25, F
@Straylight *women's virginity. Because if a guy sleeps around he's held on a pedestal but if a girl sleeps around she's a "thot".
Straylight · 31-35, F
@thiccchungles Yes. 💯 this.
Psycho · 26-30, M
I think it's more that they don't want to have to raise their grandchildren or their daughter being deflowered by someone who will use her.
Psycho · 26-30, M
@thiccchungles Well if it was me I'd say not in my house and if you get pregnant pack your bags.

Harsh but it's not creepy, it's just expecting someone not to burden you when you spent the better part of your life providing for them.
thiccchungles · 22-25, F
@Psycho Why not just TALK. Educate her on contraceptives and STIs. Don't just say "No! Or else".
Psycho · 26-30, M
@thiccchungles Because people don't listen especially at that age they think they know better and go out and do it anyway.

My uncle has a 16 year old daughter who is pregnant with a drug dealer.. who is going to look after the baby? Probably not her. I wouldn't be able to put up with that.

It's not some creepy fixation on your sex life, it's more the implications of it. If you have your own job, own place then I don't see why it'd be a problem.
Men are just creepy tho
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
@Stark generalisations :( men are not definitively creepy everyone does things some people may find creepy but that does not mean they are definitively creepy people
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
It's part of the patriarchy... The ownership and the "giving away" of the bride
pride49 · 31-35, M
@ozgirl512 yeah, I'm not religious
NoahB · 26-30, M
its also kind of psychotic lol. man I remember being in highschool and being not so subtly threatened with a gun by my dates dad. lmao.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@NoahB Yeah, that's fucked up. I know they think they're protecting their little girls, but they are also threatening a kid with a gun with no real cause.
NoahB · 26-30, M
@Straylight Yeah this guy was a total moron. I sincerely got the impression he was just looking for an excuse to intimidate someone with one of his guns and who better than a 17 year old with no recourse lol
Eternity · 26-30, M
How the hell am I suppose to sell it off if she's done gave it away? Merica!

Trump 2020
SW-User
no need to obsess after i put the chastity belt on her
thiccchungles · 22-25, F
@SW-User Yeah you're the problem.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
Having a womb is a burden. Girls are so sensitive when being touched by boys.

No matter how many sex education given by kids, some will ended up pregnant. Which is sad and pointless where they know how to avoid it but they accidentally made it.
AuRevoir · 36-40, M
Pretty sure it depends on the contexts... 😷 Wanting the best for the ones we love is natural...

Telling them they can never do anything ever, is sad, bad form and a myriad of other things.. But I think creepy and gross are the wrong words to define it by far..
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
Yeah sure seems creepy to obsess about daughters virginity, though talking about safe sex and waiting for the right person is also something that might embarrass dad and daughter too
DanteD · 51-55, M
Sorry darlin....but genuine dad's always want the best and think the best of their daughters. Can't see you as anything but pure. You gotta know you're the apple of our eyes...

What about drug culture?

Yada yada yada
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@thiccchungles can I have an opinion on my kids and drug culture?
thiccchungles · 22-25, F
@yeronlyman Sure?
yeronlyman · 51-55, M
@thiccchungles because that and others concerns make the essence of parenting
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
I have no kids so 🤷‍♂️, however it’s very creepy when my male acquaintances talk about their daughter’s vaginas.
What inspired this thought?
thiccchungles · 22-25, F
@BeefySenpie T.I once said that he goes with his daughter (18) to the gynecologist to make sure her hymen isn't broken. WTF. That's not even how hymens work
don't be a cunt?

@Stereoguy How do you not see a father obsessing over the fact if her daughter is a virgin or not, not creepy? I get talking to her about it and making sure she's educated on sex but full on trying to keep tabs on her vagina is gross.

@Stereoguy See you're the problem. Instead of trying to educate her on the subject, you tell her not to do it without good reason why. Then you obsess over her vagina and expect her NOT to do things behind your back.
