I think it's more that they don't want to have to raise their grandchildren or their daughter being deflowered by someone who will use her.

@Psycho Yeah cool motive, still creepy. If that's the case, they should talk to her about it instead of being a helicopter parent. That's way more effective.

Harsh but it's not creepy, it's just expecting someone not to burden you when you spent the better part of your life providing for them.

@thiccchungles Because people don't listen especially at that age they think they know better and go out and do it anyway.

My uncle has a 16 year old daughter who is pregnant with a drug dealer.. who is going to look after the baby? Probably not her. I wouldn't be able to put up with that.

It's not some creepy fixation on your sex life, it's more the implications of it. If you have your own job, own place then I don't see why it'd be a problem.
