I Want To Know What Clothes You Are Wearing To Work Today

Monday Morning Feeling... Lovely bright sunny day today so I'm feeling all summery. I'm in the office all day so I have on a cotton summer dress; very bright yellow and blue flower print, cap sleeves and scoop neckline. I have on a light-weight lacy bra in white (La Senza) with matching and very skimpy briefs. Bare lags today, but I have a cobalt blue ankle ribbon on my left ankle (think scrunchie, only bigger). Comfy but stylish shoes by Sole-Mate. Hair pulled up in a high pony.

Black trousers, a long pink blouse with decorative gold buttons all down the sleeves with little openings between the buttons, an open silkl cardigan (black with white leaves and pink flowers (reminded me of a cute kimono print I once saw) to bring along in case it's cold at work, a long gold necklace, nice black shoes with a small heel. Wearing my hair down and curly today (I had it up in a bun last night.) Minimal makeup: a little eyebrow pencil, eyeliner under my top lashes, eyelash curler and mascara, and chapstick and a little bit of lip color.

Good enough. Lol

@Tiredish There's a thing they call a 'sensory walk' at one of the big parks near here. It's like a long path through the woods that's flooded and you walk through different muds and sands and weeds. That's cool . . .

I'm in the office, so business casual (I have patients today). I think Ive reached full adulthood in that I can wear slacks and feel fully comfortable. If Im at home, shorts and a tee, probably concert one.

@Claudianovotny OMG yes! Took me awhile to get there actually. Was activevduty for a time, then straight into school / professional worlds. Never really owned my comfort level in clothing, that has changed though over the years fortunately.

@TallMtnMedic Yes, interesting, isn't it. In some ways, it's like a third tier of business attire, one that shows you've 'made it'. I guess a psychologist somewhere must have done a study . . .

Well today I'm sporting the fashionable Navy Working Uniform, type III, with the AOR-2 camo pattern. My hair is in a standard regulation Navy bun set low at the back of my head, but above my collar. Finishing out this functional look is the standard issue eight point NWUIII cover. 馃槈
