I Want To Know What Clothes You Are Wearing To Work Today

Monday Morning Feeling... Lovely bright sunny day today so I'm feeling all summery. I'm in the office all day so I have on a cotton summer dress; very bright yellow and blue flower print, cap sleeves and scoop neckline. I have on a light-weight lacy bra in white (La Senza) with matching and very skimpy briefs. Bare lags today, but I have a cobalt blue ankle ribbon on my left ankle (think scrunchie, only bigger). Comfy but stylish shoes by Sole-Mate. Hair pulled up in a high pony.

I'm in the office, so business casual (I have patients today). I think Ive reached full adulthood in that I can wear slacks and feel fully comfortable. If Im at home, shorts and a tee, probably concert one.

@TallMtnMedic Yeah, I've reached a level of confidence where I don't feel I need to wear formal business attire anymore. I have a more individual way of dressing that nevertheless conveys gravitas.

@Claudianovotny OMG yes! Took me awhile to get there actually. Was activevduty for a time, then straight into school / professional worlds. Never really owned my comfort level in clothing, that has changed though over the years fortunately.

@TallMtnMedic Yes, interesting, isn't it. In some ways, it's like a third tier of business attire, one that shows you've 'made it'. I guess a psychologist somewhere must have done a study . . .

Oh yeah, there are studies for everything.
