I Wish

I wish I can go back to school .. Every year around this time, everyone is getting ready to be back to school, I wish I could do the same.
I used to be a good student throughout high school, I had good grades in college as well. Suddenly, I failed a test and I know for sure that I shouldn't have failed, it turned out there was a mistake. The professor refused to fix it. It was my last year in college, I had a fight with him and since the system is corrupted here, I was on a black list, and I didn't pass the year. I repeated that year 3 times, but I still had same bad grades. I gave up and dropped out, I found a job first as a tourist guide then as an assistant. To work I had get a document that says that I will never go back to school. I don't have the right to get my scholar file. So now I can't go back to school, and my heart is breaking. Because after years and years of hard work and surviving terrible education system, I don't have a college degree. I was so ambitious and I wanted to go for Masters and PhD. Now I don't have even a simple college degree.
I wish I can go back to school and get my degree. I swear no matter how many times I complained about school and studying and homework, I would do anything to go back.
I'm not allowed to do that here in my country, and I don't have money to apply for abroad school, even if I had money, I don't have my scholar file.
and now I'm just an assistant when I can do much much better.

What did you mean by "I don't have the right to get my scholar file." The school won't release your grade transcript? How is that possible? Don't they have some kind of legal obligation to release this? Is there any legal process in your country to force the college to disclose your scholar file and give you a copy? I cannot believe they can make you pay for school and then legally claim you have no right to the file. That needs to get fixed and you need to take initiative to fix it.

The solution to this problem is to go to a college in a different country, that has no affiliation to the corrupt college that created these problems. It looks like you will only be able to do this after saving up money, or maybe by marrying some foreigner.

I don't have the right to claim the scholar report because they legally own it. There is no way I can go against the public colleges, and besides we don't really pay for college here, only about 25$ a year so it's practically free, but shitty programs and system sadly.
I keep hearing the marriage solution everywhere :D
Maybe it's a sign :D

What is the college's stated reason that your scholar file cannot be copied and given to you?

it's just the law, if you dropped out, you don't get your file and you can't go back to school.
trust me, most of laws here are f**** up .. Like when I give my exam back I don't have the right to get it back. I only see the grade the day of results on display. The copy? we never get it back. They can mix grades and give low grades without knowing why, or what was wrong in your answers

Does your country have any pro-bono legal services? Can you afford a lawyer. I think there needs to be a court case for this. Something is not right.

they tried before me, nothing changed, and that's how it is. the gov says we have more serious problems we're dealing with, terrorism and the economy that's going down.. Post-revolution, everything went down hill, and we're simply the victims of this era. Nothing to do about it. I mean others got worse cases than me, rape by professors cases of example. They can't do anything, the victims, simply because with some money those professors can get away..
See? The corruption is in every aspect. If there was something I could do, I would have done, but just demanding to see my exam and fix my grade got me to fail the year, what if I sued them? :D

Could you bribe someone to get the transcript? Since there are apparently no real laws in your country I guess this happens?

yes I can .. but honestly that's against my morals.. I could have got my degree in many other ways but I prefer to keep my morals and standards intact. that might sound silly in my case but I don't like to play by their rules. I believe that I will get what I want one day who knows, but I will always go after what I dream with honesty and I won't go down to their level

Your government has no morals, and it is very difficult to understand your point. What person would look at a bribe to get their own college transcript as immoral? It's like paying a robber to get back the things he stole from you.
