how often would lustful thoughts come into your head for male and female

It's perfectly natural to have lustful thoughts when certain people are in your circle. Although your religion has no bearing on your body, religious teaching teaches that lust is evil. It is perfectly normal; it is only harmful if you act violently on those thoughts and inflict bodily harm on another individual.

They happen to everyone. I have OCD so what are called intrusive thoughts happen all the time. But in some people (like me) we get scared or disturbed or have some other type of reaction to the thoughts and think they reflect our true selves. But if they really did reflect our true selves they wouldn't distress us. The fact that you are reacting to your thoughts the way you are tells you that are not a reflection on you and they are against your sense of self. This is called Ego-dystonic versus Ego-syntonic.
The problem is when you try to fight those thoughts they just keep getting even more intrusive. One of the things that has helped me was to realize all this and purposely think those thoughts and try not to react to them. After a while your brain becomes numb to the thoughts and they lessen. But it can take practice.

Its absolutely normal and many people have sexual thoughts numerous times in a day. Its not sinful, its normal. Some of the thoughts are sometimes very inappropriate or taboo. It doesn't mean that you are a bad person. If any thoughts bother you just accept that the thought is there and then let it go without any concern.

I used to be a Christian, and I had the same problem. I thought I was knocking on hell's door, but I realized later on that it's just natural. I told myself, God created me, and he doesn't make mistakes... so there you go. If it happens, it's supposed to. As long as you're not taking advantage of anyone, you're good, brother.

men and women are equally lustful, it just seems women are a bit more reserved about it. However I have been to a " party " held a male strip club. By far, men and less raunchy than their female counterparts. I was embarrassed and left. They were out of control.

Youre just a human being. It happened to me when i was a Christian, it still happens now.

It happens to all of us. It even happens more frequently to some than others. It's nature. As long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else... to each his or her own.

Especially if you're not intimate with anyone, our lustful thoughts is all we got!
