Why are guys more interesting than females?

I feel bad for feeling this way.. I want to find intrigue in a female friendship/connection but I feel sexist, like it seems impossible to find progressive conversation/interests/shared curiosity that I want to pursue, because females are usually caught up focusing and projecting unhelpful insecurities and other self conscious matters that seem to deduct from the quality and potential of overall character & demeanor etc..
Am I being unreasonable in saying this !?tell me if you agree or not

I don't think that's sexist. I personally prefer to talk to women; the two genders just offer somewhat different experiences. And I'm pretty sure there is science showing that women are more prone to indirect aggression whereas men are more prone to direct aggression, so your story checks out. 🤷‍♂️ It's just that we all like different things.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@BlueVeins I guess it's not so easy to get for some people 🤪
BlueVeins · 22-25
@msdistant There's never any shortage of people on the Internet who are desperate to misconstrue other people's feelings and intentions. Makes them feel superior, if they can paint you as a sexist or whatever. Never be afraid to be who you are.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@BlueVeins u r so freaking right 😍.. I feel sorry for those warped individuals 😅
Spica · 31-35, F
That's just your own opinion/preference so you are the one who should know the answer to your question here. It might help that you are a woman yourself ~
msdistant · 26-30, F
@Spica I'm yet to be proven wrong B-)

Perhaps you haven’t found the correct group and/or female friendship yet. I think both sexes have both terrible traits and good traits. I have both in my life and it’s an extremely delightful dynamic. Excellent post btw.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@RainBisou I like this answer! The kind of thinking I'm seeking 🤣

Men and women are basically the same, they just go about things differently. Same wires, different wiring. And of course people are all different to some extent.
I've only ever had male friends because for some reason I just don't get along with females for the most part.

Females tend to be catty and more expressive with their emotions. Some are more like the males I mention below in that they're more collected emotionally.
Males tend to hide it pretty well for the most part, but usually break down their emotions little by little. Some can be super emotional but generally their energy level is very laid-back.

Its more so about the type of people you are finding tho instead of the gender that they are. Because all of what you're describing you can find in a good 1/3 people you meet.
And in the end everyone has times where they are exactly as you described the females as being because its human nature lol
msdistant · 26-30, F
@SW-User excellent answer but I suppose that difference in composure and regulation of emotions across genders impacts how another receives you, which could explain why females are more subject to carrying certain qualities and behaviors, however the most important point being how do you identify a type of person if they are unknowingly overshadowed by some of the things they chose to focus on and display
SW-User
@msdistant What they choose to focus on and display is too varied honestly. I think you need to focus on finding the right people honestly.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@SW-User yesss help me
It must not be unreasonable according to your experiences. I find plenty of men who are caught up in focusing and projecting unhelpful insecurities and other self conscious matters, as well.
@msdistant I don't know. A lot of people have a good having-it-together act.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@PhoenixPhail lolol! But such 'acts' can still be interesting😂
@msdistant Indeed! 😊
Eclipsed · M
Young women are a mess.. not all.. there are some here to find that I'm pretty impressed with.. but.. yeah.. make older friends or find the rare ones.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@Eclipsed wow, yeah it seems to be so, hard to find rare ones
Eclipsed · M
@msdistant I briefly scanned your profile and a few younger women here came to mind that like to talk about deeper things if you haven't already interacted with them here.. trippy.. pepsicolap.. Aidolovemostofyourthoughts... taehyun.. they are pretty cool people and don't get caught up in drama and petty bs.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@Eclipsed thanks for taking time to consider😍 that is really kind of u ! il be sure to look into their content, I'm honestly so easy going I hope others pick it up, 🤣i love a happy ending

I usually enjoy hanging with females. I have great male friends, but, I don't enjoy a lot of the same things that men do. No sex is more interesting than the other. That's just my opinion.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
Sounds like you simply have more of a preference for men over women, based on your experiences. Nothing wrong with that at all.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@SubstantialKick interesting! I just feel like I'm missing out by narrowing option
Vittoria · 61-69, F
Perhaps you need to upgrade your social circle, dear. The women I know are highly-educated and can carry on interesting conversations and debates that I doubt you could even understand. Many of them have authored books on a variety of topics. And plenty of men are deeply insecure, not particularly well-educated, and can't speak on complex matters at all.

Generalizations like yours are a symptom of ignorance among other things.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@Vittoria great answer, now it take a bright mind to see how you do! I agree, some behaviors aren't exclusive to females but the women you describe are not easy to come across, such established people are the hardest to access due to higher capacities to reach fulfillments, and not to mention the age range, social background
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Vittoria I find macho men very boring. Their idea of manhood limits what they can talk about and think about.
Unlearn · 41-45, M
The women I have had in my life...have only made me respect the feminine energy more. It depends on the individual I guess.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
I'd say its not so gender-specific, but maybe because women are in such demand all their lives that tends to be more of a focus?. Maybe men have more time to sit and think about things because there isn't always a woman trying to be involved in their lives.

That's speculation on that theory anyway, I've met lots of interesting women with a lot of depth to them.

You'll see loads of people say otherwise. I think it's just what you want to talk to people about, or what they want to talk to you about. Or maybe just the women you've met.

Also I think it's telling that it's natural language to say "guys" and "females" in the same breath.
SW-User
You may have some deep seated issues with females that are rooted in your early years. If something has made you believe women are untrustworthy growing up, you'll see the worst in them as an adult.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@SW-User possible! But I think my evaluation is more based off measuring of the take away from each interaction 🤪
SW-User
@msdistant Sure, but sometimes we see what we're also geared to see. For the longest time I'd see all these things too but there is another side. Women can be amazing friends.
Voomis · C
females are usually caught up focusing and projecting unhelpful insecurities and other self conscious matters
bruh, guys are as bad if now worse, the can just hide it easier.

but yeah i prefer hanging with guys
msdistant · 26-30, F
@Voomis yeah guys are still guilty of similar things, it just is never as important
I don't know , I am too emotional so one day or a another I'm going to send a stupid sad text to female friends.

I don't want to send the same to a another guy and make it awkward 😅
msdistant · 26-30, F
@HopelessGuy makes sense!! But guys are usually pretty good with sad soppy stuff still
SW-User
I don't think it's sexist.

You just sound like you have too much time on your hands and men are willing to have these conversations because of ulterior motives.
msdistant · 26-30, F
@SW-User lol always a possibility !
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I don't have a preference. I find a lot of women more interesting in fact.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
no one is more or less interesting than the other
SW-User
Drop me a message whenever you want
Oh boy, females eh?!
msdistant · 26-30, F
@msdistant interesting
BozoBoy · 36-40, M
Well I’ll have you know I’m transitioning to being a female so I can’t agree with this post!

Men are animals
By men it's the opposite. They prefer women !
msdistant · 26-30, F
@BridgeOvertroubledWaters lol surely it's more complicated than that
@msdistant no , I have an easier time chatting here with women , just flows better
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
@msdistant So What Do you think of Jason Momoa & Would You Do Him
SW-User
