I met a famous taxi driver 2 days ago

I took his taxi home after work. He said he wrote songs and asked if I had heard of some of the songs he wrote, which he listed and asked me to search on the internet.

Because some of the songs had weird names such as "birthday song","wish you long life song", "new year song", I thought he was either lying or crazy.

After arriving home, I searched on the internet, and found out that he is the "singer king of taxi", who sold his 5 taxis to issue his own albums in the 80s and 90s. He lost all his money because his albums sold poorly, so he returned to driving taxi.

He is thinking of re-arranging his songs and issue new albums again.

I respect his passion but he really need to look at the reality with an objective mind. Although his songs are funny, he will never earn his 5 taxis back through selling his songs.

Maybe it’s not about making up for things gone
Maybe it’s about doing what makes him happy

@Picklebobble2 he didn't seem to me to do it for fun alone. He said he watched singing contests on TV to study the market trench of music now and it gave him hope. So I guess he really wanted to be a real singing star.
