How can they get rid of the penny?

It costs more than a penny to make a penny. Get rid of the penny and make the dollar a coin. This is something politicians should be talking about instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars to lie about how wonderful they are. And get rid of Daylight Saving Time!

Easy, get rid of the penny and nickel then there is no amount under a tenth...

Or just get rid of all change and then nothing below a dollar...

Since really due to inflation a dollar is basically what the penny used to be.

It's rounded up or down depending. If it's 31-32 then it's rounded down to 30. If it's 33 then it's rounded up to 35
