You are driving on a highway and you reach somewhere close to a forest middle of the night.

You don't know which way you have to go. Your phone is switched off. You can't find the charger. You don't have a gun. You know that you have to cross the whole forest and there is no way else. What would you do?

I will just stop driving. I will slide up the glasses and I would want to have a dog's sleep till the Dawn.

I'd turn around and go back the same way I came, instead of wasting gas and having to double back if I ended up somewhere I didn't like. Then I'd find the nearest gas station and buy a map and also ask which way to go. If they were closed, I'd find the nearest motel and either rest for the night or ask the clerk for good directions.

Wait till dawn, remaining where you are and flag a passing motorist. Or continue along the roadside to civilization; you'll have less chance in a forest unprepared.
