What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?

Was it worth it?
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
After learning to scuba, did a walk around in a shark tank... Only two Sharks in there though and both kind of benign
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@ozgirl512 not a problem in the Dnipr so far... but with global warming, who knows?
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Yulianna Sturgeon get pretty big don't they?
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@ozgirl512 not big like sharks, i think
Starting my own small restaurant. Worth it? Financially it ruined me. But I embrace the fact I created a beautiful space, great products, and so many dedicated customers who remained loyal to the end.

Taking risks is an important part of life. NEVER ever try to play it safe there is NO such thing.

Take a chance on your gifts and creativity you will have regrets in old age if you don't.

@Grateful4you My nomination for BA
@daydeeo Thank you for saying so!

@Grateful4you You're welcome. The more people who followed your advice, the better this world would be.
Relocated to a new country. New career. New life. Left the comfortable life surrounded by families and friends.

It had its challenges and triumphs. But overall, I could never be thankful for taking that chance.

@CookieCrumbs glad it worked out for you 🤗
Jumping from a pillar to a grapple, back down (means I'm facing the sky), over a hundred feet in the air, to do a shimmy flip and leap upwards to a rack, without thinking about any of it.
It was also all in one fluid motion, no stopping.
I quit looking for work cause I don't care anymore, life will sustain me or not. Thats my philosophy now and if I go broke or starve I'm probably a better person for it.

Over the alternative...

When I confront my maker I'll know if it was all worth it...but most likely I'll get caught up on something I didn't even think of.

Dying is the biggest risk and I'll reach that point too.

Being born.
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@KiwiBird possibly... but as outcome is certain, is it a risk at all?

Met a woman online over 10 years ago. I drove to see her more than a few times and we decided to move in together. 10 years later we have two kids, a mortgage and are going to get a divorce. So there's that lol

Sold all the stock I owned in a company where I worked. Invested it in a mutual fund and tripled it before the company went bankrupt.
@SageWanderer Good for you sir! I encourage young people to go with mutual funds, it's how I was able to do my restaurant and build a geodesic in the Black Hills.
I have taken big risks with my career and I have stuck by people who haven’t always stuck by me
daydeeo · 61-69, M
To walk away from an abusive situation. 100% worth it.
