What is it like to feel absolutely no emotion?

Thinking about trying it.
Don't.

It's not worth it.

And besides - I dont think yoy can jist make yourself not feel.

It happens on its own.

And it's great to start off with.

The pressure is off, your head clears - it's amazing!

But then you find that nothing is funny anymore, you don't think about sex at all, in fact - you can't even of you try.
Nothing interests you, life becomes horribly, DESPERATELY bland.

And to learn to feel again is a VERY painful process.

It's feeling absolutely broken. I felt like that for a bit when my depression was terrible. I don't think you can force yourself to feel that way though.

@ShaythePanTransMan Depression has been at an all-time high the past couple of months. I'm just ready to stop feeling, but not stop living. Surely there is a middle ground.

@ManicMicah Wow. I'm sorry. I'm not sure what it is.

I feel very little of it. It's not unpleasant, a kind of settled cocoon from which to gaze out at others' excesses. A self-regulated, self-contained existence; equanimity.

Its quiet and one could think its the best but the best its joy and love.

It’s better to be tactically emotional than generally “nice”

I'm getting pretty good at it I think. Just focus on your breathing.

You can't just try it. That's not how it works.

I wouldn't know
