As someone with East Asian ancestry, I can't help noticing there are a lot of East Asians being in relationship with someone outside their race.

@JBird But how can you even tell? How do you judge that? Do you sit down and interview the couple in-depth? Or do you walk past them on the street and size them and their relationship up on the fly?

@quitwhendone as I told you I have east Asian father. His 'foriegn' relationship ended after my mother had enough with him. I even heard from few of them boasting about their 'white' boyfriends. I believe they do so because their obsession with white skinned people and wrong idea of white people bring rich. It started becoming popular in India too. Again like I said, there are exceptions.

@JBird Yes thanks to the internet, cheaper air travel and a greater tolerance in the West. I read that 10 percent of American men now marry Phil or SEAsian girls...that number seems real high to me but it is a large one regardless.

@SW-User Yes that's true and ironic ... my Phil gf's are always complaining that American/British men like "black Pinays" meaning well-tanned and I say well YES if they wanted a girl with pale white skin they would stay at home and WANT the permanent semi-tan look! They even sell skin whitener product ...dumb because they are missing the point altogether.

But its their awful manners and mannish behavior that is turning off a lot of their own men.
