How do you protect yourself from your own thoughts?

I remind myself what someone wiser then me said about me
and I read this often

2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

And I tell the liar trying to make me doubt that to get behind me ,,"Its written "

Only by listening to others if they think my thinking is detrimental. It doesn’t always happen. In fact it’s caused me a lot of trouble in some cases.

Ahhh, the big curse of thoughts. Through time, they disappear when ignored. Now just good thoughts

@rottenrobi observe your thoughts, you could even write them down. I think you'll change your mind pretty easily :)
