If we discovered life was a simulated reality

would it be the duty of our scientists to find a way out of it?

Yes I'm asking it again
3D, time/space reality IS a simulated reality. When your body dies, you wake up from the dream/nightmare of it into your TRUE reality.
@PhoenixPhail I wish it would hurry the fuck up than.
@DarkHeaven Many people hurry it along. There are LOTS of people leaving the planet. LOTS.

But we also dream@PhoenixPhail

Scientists aren't always driven by duty but by curiosity and learning.

Some by obsession.

Some by power.

And some by all of the above. I think they will.

Please so. I'd like a world to myself. Why would you want out? If there was a reality outside of our world's that controlled it, that would mean it has limits, least far more than our own world. So you could pretty much do whatever the hell you want in this one of you could figure out to how to manipulate it.

@SW-User I think you'd need to get outside first then come back with your new parameters

@Jackaloftheazuresand nope. If scientists found out we lived in a simulation and found out a way to leave, most of the stupid people would just blindly follow. Leaving you to do what you want, if you stayed anyway. And if it was a simulation, and you figured out how to control it. You could literally become god and do whatever you want. So... Sounds like a party to me. I'm staying.

We wouldn't be able to get out because we'd be part of the simulation..

You wouldn't need them to, death is the exit to life as you know it.

We should try to copy it instead

Not unless they wanted to
